Patrol method

Bobcat Arrow of Light

Begin the transition toward Scouts BSA by choosing a patrol name, learning patrol leadership, reviewing Scout basics, and visiting a troop.

Campout readiness

Outdoor Adventurer

Prepare for an overnight campout, pack essentials, use a map, help set up camp, practice food safety, and reflect afterward.

Health and activity

Personal Fitness

Plan a camp meal, track activity, stay active with a patrol or den, and review health readiness for older Scout activities.

Service leadership

Citizenship

Plan and complete meaningful service with safety in mind, building the habit of helping the community.

Emergency readiness

First Aid

Learn how to respond to urgent first-aid situations, choking, shock, common injuries, and how to use a personal first-aid kit.
