Friends of Pack 463 is the not-for-profit organization supporting Cub Scout Pack 463. Our pack is part of the North East Illinois Council and serves families looking for a welcoming, hands-on introduction to Scouting.
We are proud to be a Pack serving Northbrook families since 1973 with adventure, learning, and community spirit.
Our work is simple and important: help young people learn by doing, help families build community, and create a safe path into outdoor skills, service, leadership, and confidence.
Teach: We help Scouts learn by doing, building skills, confidence, and curiosity through engaging experiences.
Inspire: We encourage Scouts to explore new challenges, think creatively, and live by the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Connect: We bring together families, leaders, and Scouts to create lasting friendships and a strong sense of community.
Pack life is built around age-appropriate den meetings, larger pack gatherings, service projects, outdoor activities, and family-friendly traditions like Pinewood Derby, campouts, conservation projects, and community events.
We keep the public website focused on recruitment and general information. Specific child-facing event details, addresses, rosters, and sensitive logistics belong in protected family channels.
