Our Mission

Our mission is to guide Cub Scouts on a journey of growth, learning, and adventure. We help young people build character, develop leadership skills, and discover the joy of doing their best—while having fun along the way.

Through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, and community service, we strive to:

Teach: We help Scouts learn by doing—building skills, confidence, and curiosity through engaging experiences.

Inspire: We encourage Scouts to explore new challenges, think creatively, and live by the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Connect: We bring together families, leaders, and Scouts to create lasting friendships and a strong sense of community.

Friends of Scouting 463 ensures that Pack 463 supports Scouting America’s mission: to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

We are a proud Pack with over 50 years of adventure, learning, and community spirit. With a long history of helping young Scouts grow in character and confidence, our Pack continues to thrive thanks to our amazing volunteers, leaders, and families.
